About KFUPM Open Courseware

Vision

To contribute to the growing educational resources openly and freely available on the World Wide Web with a view of KFUPM to be an active partner in the global and regional interactions in the open sharing of educational resources.

To be an active partner in sharing of educational resources regionally and globally.

Objectives

• Provide an online platform as a means of demonstrating KFUPM educational culture and traditions to the world
• Provide free and easy access to educational resources originated from the educational activities at KFUPM for teachers, students, and self-learners around the world
• Improve interaction and communication with the global community of higher education as well as with the competent students and faculty around the world
• Utilize it as a means to obtain feedback on the KFUPM educational resources

The courses published on the open courseware site are not meant for granting credit, degrees, or certificates. Access to faculty member of the university is therefore also not available in relation to open courseware. However feedback for a faculty member on their courses is welcomed.
