Chemistry (CHEM) The department of chemistry is one of the first departments established at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). It is committed to excellence in both education and research in all areas of chemistry. The department offers bachelor of science degrees in either chemistry or industrial chemistry. The graduate program is also one of the first to be established at the university. Both MS and PhD degrees are offered in the main traditional areas of Chemistry.
