Syllabus for GEOL-446
Catalog Description
Fundamentals concepts of environmental geology including:
geologic frameworks encompassing our environment, processes of natural geologic hazards which threaten the human life and
infrastructures, using and managing for earth resources,
human activities and their impacts on the environment.
Selected case histories of environmental hazards aggravated the
human’s life. A field trip for a pronounced site affected by
natural or man-made hazards will be scheduled
